Terms
Answers are experience and opinion — not legal, financial, or medical advice.
Last updated: May 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AskRami (the “Service”), operated by Trilot LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Trilot”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. The Service
AskRami is a personal question-and-answer service operated by a single individual. You may submit questions on a free tier (subject to limits, currently one free question per week) or on a paid tier for a priority answer subject to a stated service-level window. Answers are provided in writing.
3. Nature of answers — no professional advice
Answers reflect the personal knowledge, experience, and opinions of the operator and are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute, and must not be relied upon as, professional advice — including legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, or other regulated advice. No professional relationship is created by your use of the Service. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make, and you should consult a qualified professional before acting on any answer.
4. Accounts
You access the Service using a passwordless login tied to your email address. You are responsible for maintaining access to that email account and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorised use.
5. Fees, payments, and taxes
Paid answers are subject to the fees displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe); by paying, you authorise the charge and agree to the provider’s terms. You are responsible for any applicable taxes unless we are required to collect them. Except as set out in our Refund Policy, fees are non-refundable once an answer has been delivered.
6. Service-level window and refunds
Paid questions are answered on a priority basis within the service-level (“SLA”) window shown to you at the time of purchase (typically up to 72 hours). If we do not deliver your answer within that window, you are entitled to a refund as described in our Refund Policy. Free questions are answered selectively and are not subject to any guaranteed time window.
7. Your content and license
You retain ownership of the questions you submit. By submitting a question, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and process that content as needed to operate the Service and provide your answer. You further agree that:
- Free tier: questions submitted on the free tier, and their answers, may be published in our public archive in anonymised form; and
- Paid tier: questions submitted on the paid tier, and their answers, are kept private and are not published.
You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or harmful content; to solicit assistance in furtherance of illegal activity; to impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or overload the Service; or to use automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its content, design, text, and software (other than content you submit), is owned by Trilot or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL ANSWERS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY ANSWER WILL ACHIEVE A PARTICULAR RESULT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRILOT AND THE OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trilot and the operator from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3 and 7 through 12 and 14) will survive.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@askrami.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
16. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
