Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid questions submitted on AskRami, operated by Trilot LLC (“Trilot”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Our service-level promise
When you pay for a priority answer, you are shown a service-level (“SLA”) window at the time of purchase — the time by which we aim to deliver your answer (typically up to 72 hours). Our commitment is simple: if we miss that window, you can get your money back.
2. Full refund if we miss the SLA
If we do not deliver your answer within the SLA window shown at purchase, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount you paid for that question. Where available, you can trigger this yourself using the refund option shown on your question once the SLA window has passed without an answer. If you cannot find it, email us and we will process it.
3. No refund once an answer is delivered
Because each answer is individual work delivered to you personally, fees are non-refundable once your answer has been delivered within the SLA window. Disagreeing with, or being dissatisfied with, the substance of an answer is not grounds for a refund: the Service we charge for is a timely, good-faith written answer, not a guaranteed outcome.
4. Free questions
Free questions are provided at no charge and are therefore not eligible for a refund.
5. Exceptional circumstances
We deal fairly with genuine problems. If you were charged in error, charged more than once, or experienced a technical fault that prevented your question or answer from being processed, contact us and we will review your case and issue a refund where appropriate, at our reasonable discretion.
6. How to request a refund
Where a self-serve refund option is not available, email hello@askrami.com with the email address on your account and the date of your question. We aim to acknowledge refund requests promptly.
7. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via our payment provider (Stripe). Refunds are typically processed within five (5) business days of approval; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
